Kinder Doc is a system for tying together your curriculum, activity planning and assessment work across the teaching year. Kinder Doc helps teachers follow a cycle of observation - documentation - interpretation and planning. Once logged into Kinder Doc, you will first see the Home Planner (home) page, which will automatically bring up today’s timetable and show you the work you have planned. From here you can press the ‘+’ button to add planning or assessment documents to your day or week ahead. You can click on your personal Planning Diary to see all the planning or student assessment work, which has automatically archived in a diary format. Your Planning Diary can be shared with supervisors, for the benefit of collaboration, support and transparency. You might use your Planning Diary to pull your work together and organise your documentation workload (for example, note learning themes, projects and focus students).
Kinder Doc will also help you schedule student observations across the school year and track your work. Kinder Doc archives documents and images for each child in a secure student Portfolio. Student portfolios can be a useful tool for communication between a team of educators involved in the education and care of a student. Very soon, Kinder Doc will provide parent accounts for secure sharing and collaboration between educators and families. Parents will be able to log into a separate Parent Portal for accessing information about the school, classroom learning and their child’s experiences and development.
Kinder Doc proudly houses templates for qualitative assessments such as Anecdotal Records, Running Records and Work Samples, and also provides a simple checklist builder and Report Card score graphing functionality. Teachers can monitor the learning outcomes met by each student, and can plan and assess students meaningfully across the year.

The (KSPK) is the National curriculum framework, which describes the many components of a beneficial and holistic learning experience for children during preschool years. The KSPK describes the types of documents a teacher should write out each week and the process to follow. And most importantly, the KSPK helps a teacher remember the many learning objectives to achieve for each student in order to make sure their development and learning is holistic and comprehensive. Once a teacher understands the steps in the cycle of planning and evaluating, teaching is simplified and we can ensure that their main focus each day is the children that they teach. The KSPK sets out the qualitative assessment that a teacher should carry out in order to understand the learning and development needs of each student. To see a copy of Malaysia’s KSPK, click here

How can we plan our weeks with the evolving interests of our children and how do we make sure all our teachers can meet the National teaching standards with flying colours? You soon see how this can be achieved - with Kinder Doc!
Principals and teaching leaders: Monitor and support your teachers’ growth
Great teaching habits, skills and ideas develop over time. Teachers grow and improve with experience and teaching leaders and principals can facilitate this growth. Kinder Doc archives all teachers’ work for their own reflection and also allows for optional sharing with principals or teaching leaders in the school. Documents in Draft mode remain private, and those that are ready to be shared are marked as ‘Done’.
The practice of sharing teaching documents helps you develop a culture of community, engagement with learning, ever evolving and improving teaching and of professional development within your school. Pedagogical Documentation created in Kinder Doc can make your curriculum development a rich and meaningful process, enhanced by idea sharing between teaching colleagues.
